The Pension Real Estate Association is a nonprofit organization whose members are engaged in the investment of tax-exempt pension and endowment funds into real estate assets. Founded in 1979, PREA currently lists over 1,800 members, representing over 500 member firms across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Our members include representatives of corporate, Taft-Hartley and public retirement plans, real estate asset managers and property managers, REITs, consultants, attorneys, accountants, appraisers and others. In fulfilling the association's educational mission, PREA serves as a steward for the industry, dedicated to seeking and promoting industry best practices, and standards of prudence, professionalism and integrity. Membership in PREA is valuable for anyone involved in institutional real estate. PREA is committed to providing its members with a full range of services to help develop and enhance their skills and understanding of real estate investment.
