Kevin Bassi, California State Teachers’ Retirement System
Kevin Bassi joined the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) Real Estate Unit in 2012 as an Investment Officer. In this role, he helps oversee the domestic office portfolio, which includes performing due diligence on potential new investment opportunities in separate accounts, joint ventures, and commingled funds in addition to managing existing assets in the portfolio. Additionally, Bassi works on the overall general portfolio strategy development and implementation. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Bassi worked as a Financial Analyst in the capital markets group for the Buzz Oates Group of Companies in Sacramento. Bassi received a BS in business administration with an emphasis in finance from California State University, Stanislaus.

 

Terra Elijah, California Public Employees’ Retirement System
Terra Elijah is an Investment Officer in California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) Real Assets Unit. She serves as the lead, overseeing the Real Assets governance structure, including investment policy and the Real Assets Investment Committee. She is also responsible for risk measurement and performance attribution of the Real Assets Portfolio, where she plays an active role in generating top-down portfolio impact analyses on proposed investments to assist with transaction decisions. Prior to Real Assets, Elijah worked in the CalPERS Asset Allocation and Risk Unit, where she was responsible for total fund-level reporting, analysis, and research. Elijah received a BS in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University, Sacramento.

 

Mallory Glusband, University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company
Mallory Glusband is an Investment Associate at the University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company (UTIMCO), where she helps oversee the endowments’ real estate portfolio across private and public investments. Glusband is responsible for sourcing new opportunities in all markets and managing relationships for current investments. Prior to joining UTIMCO, she worked at Square Mile Capital Management and USAA Real Estate Company, where she was responsible for investor relations and portfolio management of real estate debt and equity partnerships. Glusband began her career at Prudential Real Estate Investors, where she focused on portfolio and asset management. She received a BS from Washington University in St. Louis and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

Lukas Gregg, Harvard Management Company
Lukas Gregg is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Investment Group at Harvard Management Company (HMC). He is responsible for the acquisition, management, and disposition of equity and debt investments across numerous joint-venture platforms with specific focus on multifamily, life science/office, retail, and distressed loan portfolios. In addition to the direct portfolio, Gregg helps evaluate real estate private equity and venture capital funds as well as other corporate-level investments. Prior to HMC, he worked in the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Investment Banking Group at Jefferies LLC and the Mergers and Acquisitions team at Brookwood Associates. Gregg received a BS in finance from Wake Forest University.

 

Malorie Lee, Teacher Retirement System of Texas
Malorie Lee is a Senior Analyst in the Real Estate group at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. She is responsible for underwriting global institutional investment opportunities and performing in-depth due diligence and relationship and asset management. Previously, Lee was an International Equities Analyst for Dimensional Fund Advisors. She received a BBA in finance from Texas A&M University.

 

Manoj Ramprakash, Oxford Properties Group
Manoj Ramprakash is an Associate on the Investments team at Oxford Properties Group. Ramprakash joined Oxford in 2012 as an Analyst on the Canada Region Investments team in Toronto, where he was responsible for analyzing real estate transactions across all property types. In 2015, Ramprakash joined the US Region Investments team in New York. His current responsibilities include underwriting, due diligence, and execution of equity and debt opportunities, in addition to the asset management of existing assets. Prior to Oxford, Ramprakash was an Analyst with J.P. Morgan. He holds an Honors Business Administration degree (with distinction) from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.

 

Chris Rhind, Oxford Properties Group
Chris Rhind is an Associate with Oxford Properties Group in New York. In this role, he is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities across core, core-plus, and development strategies, as well as seasoned and newly originated CMBS, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity positions in New York, Boston, Washington, DC, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Additionally, Rhind aids in financings and dispositions across Oxford’s US portfolio. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and has an MsC in real estate development from Columbia University.

 

Manoj Vasudevan, KAUST Investment Management Company
Manoj Vasudevan is an Investment Associate at KAUST Investment Management Company. At KAUST, Vasudevan helps manage a global real estate portfolio. His responsibilities include overall portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and underwriting new fund investments and joint ventures. Additionally, he serves as an executive-in-residence at the Steers Center for Global Real Estate in Georgetown University. Prior to KAUST, Vasudevan worked at Acer Infrastructure, a real estate property developer in India, where he was responsible for sourcing residential development opportunities and structuring joint ventures with land owners. He has a bachelor’s in electronics from BITS Pilani (India) and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
