Leadership and Diversity
Alisa Mall speaks with a panel of esteemed leaders, Leslie Hale, CEO, RLJ Lodging Trust; Kim Y. Lew, former CIO, Carnegie Corp of New York; John Rice, CEO, Management Leadership for Tomorrow; and Darren Walker, President, Ford Foundation to address the strengths and benefits of diverse teams possessing wide-ranging perspectives. They will describe how these advantages manifest, whether in pursuing industry-leading investment returns, reducing risks, building resiliency, or changing the status quo.

The Economy
Daniel Neidich, Chief Executive Officer of Dune Real Partners LP, will speak with former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson Jr. to consider the lessons learned from the global financial crisis and any ways in which those insights might guide the policy response to present challenges. Additionally, they will survey the unique economic and employment effects of a pandemic alongside the fiscal and monetary policy tools that could be harnessed in addressing these impacts.

Betty Liu, NYSE Executive Vice Chairman, will speak with Jon Gray, President and COO of private equity giant Blackstone, about the many linkages between the broad economic backdrop and investment performance, in real estate and across asset classes. As they chart the likely path to recovery, they will consider key implications for different geographies and categories of real estate.

The Political Landscape
A renowned financier, co-founder and co-executive chairman of The Carlyle Group, and philanthropist who has interviewed dozens of notable figures on television and in print, David Rubenstein will speak with Secretary Condoleezza Rice, whose experience at the highest levels of government in international affairs and diplomacy give her an unparalleled understanding of today's geopolitical complexities. The two will examine the international rivalries and opportunities for cooperation that have shaped and will drive geopolitics in the 21st century.
