PREA Scholarship Deadline:
May 10th 2008

This year, PREA has expanded its scholarship program to assist college sophomores, juniors or seniors and graduate level students who plan to continue education in undergraduate and graduate programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study in real estate, at an accredited four-year institution of the student's choice. The deadline for complete applications is May 10th. Please click here for all of the details. Since 1994, PREA has awarded $320,000 in scholarships to 96 students concentrating in real estate studies at academic institutions in the U.S. and Canada. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®.

New Derivatives Group Formed
The Real Estate Derivative Special Interest Group (REDSIG) is a cross-industry group that has been established to offer insight and perspectives to the market and address frequently asked questions on the use and implementation of commercial property derivative products. The Group will initially focus on NCREIF related derivative products. Information will be available soon at the website www.red-sig.com
